Audie Tarpley is the president and owner of Dillon Construction Group in Indianapolis, where he leads a multidisciplinary team delivering complex commercial development projects. His responsibilities span business development, design management, preconstruction, and overall project execution for industrial, office, retail, and multifamily assets. Representative work under his leadership includes the 208-unit Quarry Luxury Apartments, the 150,000-square-foot corporate headquarters for Lids, and a five-story, 135,000-square-foot headquarters for Merchants Bank, as well as multiple structured parking and apartment developments.
Before founding Dillon, Mr. Tarpley held senior roles across the development lifecycle. As director of construction at Bear Creek Capital in Cincinnati, he managed acquisition, entitlement, design, and construction, delivering material cost savings through value engineering and compressing project timelines from two years to approximately 16 months. Earlier, he led the redevelopment of Woodbury Commons and Silver Lake Village with Muir Doran Construction, including urban main street retail and a Wal-Mart-anchored center, where he worked closely with municipalities on entitlements and tax increment financing.
Mr. Tarpley studied civil engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He remains engaged in the broader real estate community through involvement with organizations such as The Real Estate Council and the Urban Land Institute, and he regularly shares his experience with peers and emerging professionals in the industry.
